Hello friends, I have a dream of studying BTech(Instrumentation Engineering) from IIT Kharagpur. I would like to know about the entrance exams through which I can get admission in this course in this college. Kindly tell me about the cutoff marks required for admission.

Yes, Entrance examination is available to study a BTech in Instrumentation Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. Admission selection is through counseling based on the rank obtained in JEE Advanced. The cutoff marks varies every year and also depends on the number of candidates appearing for the test.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology with a minimum score of 75% marks in aggregate for General category and for SC/ST candidates it is 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. You need to appear in JEE Mains Exam and if cracked , you need to appear in JEE Advanced Exam to secure a seat of BTECH Instrumentation Engineering in IIT Kharagpur.
