Is it mandatory to study Computer Science in Higher Secondary to further study BCA(H)?

Hello everyone, I am studying in 11th standard with PCM stream. I want to study BCA(H) after completing my Higher Secondary. But, I have heard that studying Computer Science is mandatory to secure admission for BCA(H) course. Is it true?

It is not mandatory to study Computer Science in Higher Secondary to further study BCA (H). Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Application / Business Economics and Mathematics or candidates passed in 10+2 level with vocational engineering & Technology with a pass mark in additional Mathematics are eligible to study BCA (H) degree. Therefore, it is not mandatory to study Computer Science as a subject in 10+2 to study BCA (H) course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
