I want to be a fashion designer anyhow,now m in class 9 of cbse,soon i will pass 10 i have decided to take in arts,which subject i have to choose to be in fashion institutes?after passing 12,what i have to do?i have heard about NIFT,what can i do to get admission in it(like how much qualification,etc)?plz tell me

Both Commerce and Science Stream candidates are eligible to apply for NIFT Examination. NIFT i.e National Institute of Fashion Technology Examination conducts once in a year for admission to various fashion designing course. NIFT Offers both the Bachelor's and Master Degree course.

Bachelor Degree(B.Des) course are :-

• Fashion Design
• Leather Design
• Accessory Design
• Textile Design
• Knitwear Design
• Fashion Communication

Eligibility Criteria for B.Des :-

-->> You should have passed Intermediate from a recognized Institute.
-->> No percentage bar required to apply.
-->> Not more than 28 years of age and Upper age limits is applicable.
-->> Even those who have passed Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board.

Bachelor's Programme (B.Tech) - Technology

• Apparel Production

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech :-

-->> You should have passed Intermediate from a recognized Institute.
-->> Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

-->> Not more than 28 years of age and upper age limits is applicable.

Is MATHS necessary for fashion designing?What is the criteria for NIFT with commerce and with computers?

i m in 11th and i want to join nift. so what subject should i take to get entry in nift?

I don't have math and computer subjects in 11. so tell me what I have to do for fashion designing course after 12th?

I have given my 10th board and now am going in 12 so which subject should i choose for NIFT fashion desinging

Is maths and science compulsory for appearing nift

For Fashion Designing ,
Candidates must have 12th passed From a recognized university

And For NIFT Candidates must have 12th passed with minimum 50%marks
