Sir, I got 55 marks in entrance test 2017 in 10th board. I got 75% and in 12th board I got 85%. Is there any chance of getting seat in your university?

Actually your 10th percentage and 12th percentage does not matters so to take admission in top university of India. You have to qualify the entrance test that is conducted by the particular University.
If you will able to qualify the entrance test of that particular University with higher rank then definitely you will get admission in that particular University.

It is very difficult to get admission in top universities with 85% marks in 12th standard. Admission to the degree course is done on the basis of marks scored in the major subjects and an entrance examination. Top universities conduct entrance examination for taking admission to the degree course. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examinations and entrance examination. If the demand for the course is high, then it is very difficult to get admission to the course with 85% marks in 12th. Therefore, it is very difficult to get admission in top universities with 85% marks in 12th standard.

You haven't mentioned your stream and also what course you are willing to pursue, so its quite difficult for me to provide you exact answer for your query.
If you are willing to take engineering after completion of your 12th standard then let me inform you that you must have completed 12th standard with PCM as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.Also you have to qualify entrance examinations conducted, for candidates willing to pursue engineering, by State council as well as by National council.So you need to qualify the entrance examination with the required ranks in order to take admission into a good reputed engineering college.Admission to any engineering college is strictly based on entrance examination merit ranks or else a candidate have take admission through management quota which cost more than 7-8 lack.
