Hello friends, I am interested to study BTech(Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) in IMU-Chennai. So, I want to know that I have to appear in any kind of entrance exam for getting admission and studying BTech(Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) in this college?

For admission in BTech(Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) in IMU-Chennai, the candidate has to appear in and qualify the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET). Admission of the candidate is made on the basis of rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET) followed by counselling. The basic eligibility to study BTech(Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) in IMU-Chennai is the candidates must have done 10+2 level examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.

Yes, there is an entrance examination available to study BTech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at IMU(Indian Maritime University), Chennai. All the eligible candidates who have passed 12th class with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together required to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) which is conducted by the University.

Yes, candidates have to appear for the Online Common Entrance Test (CET) for the admission to study BTech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) course at the Indian Maritime University (IMU).

There are 200 multiple choice questions asked in the Online Common Entrance Test (CET).

Syllabus – English, Physics, Mathematics, General Aptitude, Chemistry (10+2 level)
