Respected Sir, I am studying in class 12th with Science stream and after completing it I want to become a Doctor so I want to know what is the procedure to become a Doctor after completing class 12th? In which field should I become a Doctor? Please answer as soon as possible.

You have to apply for medical entrance exams like NEET or any other state medical entrance for admission in medical courses like MBBS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS.

Most popular option is MBBS among students and you need a top rank to get admission at a government medical college. Also, make sure that you have passed class 12th with PCB stream before applying.

First thing I would like to let you know that the primary education required for becoming a doctor is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognized board.

Further after pursuing this you will have to pursue MBBS ( Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ) degree course which is an undergraduate degree course of five and a half years including one year of internship. Also to pursue the same degree from medical colleges of India you will have to qualify entrance examination like NEET or AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination.

Further you will have to pursue specialisation course to go in your specific desired field.

Procedure to become a doctor is as follows:
At first you have to pass your class 12 with PCB (physics, chemistry and biology) with a minimum of 60% from a recognized board so that you can take admission in best medical schools and colleges.
The very first step you have to do is to complete your 4 years bachelor’s degree under pre medical undergraduate program after that you have to crack MCAT(Medical college admission test) which is based on a multiple choice question, critical thinking, scientific principles and writing after cracking MCAT, then you are eligible to take admission in the medical school whose time duration is 4 years after the completion of 4 years then you have to take your license for practice in hospitals and other medical facilities. To obtain your license you must have to pass the exam of the USMLE (United State Medical License Exam) then finally you have to complete a medical residency in which pursuing doctors receive paid on the job training. As per your field specialization it will take time. The duration of residency varies between 3-7 years. In residency, pursuing doctor practice under the supervision of an experienced doctor. In order to maintain your license and board certification after completion of residency you have to fulfil your CME (Continuing Medical Education).

Candidates after completion of 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks shall be eligible to apply for MBBS admission in India. They have to clear the NEET (UG) examination conducted by the CBSE for the admission to MBBS. The admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in the NEET examination. There are various coaching classes available for NEET examination. The MBBS duration is 5.5 years including internship duration of 1 year. After completion of the course you can become an allopathic doctor. After completion of MBBS, you can study post graduation in any specialization.

If I do not give neet, by which medical entrance exam. I should enter a vetenary college?
