CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. This exam is conducted for admission in LLB and LLM courses.

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks from a recognized board then you are eligible to attend in CLAT exam for admission in Under graduate course.

Your age should not be above 18 years for under graduate course.

You can choose any stream if you are planning to study law through CLAT. Anyone who has passed 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized board of education can apply for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

Therefore, opt for any stream which interests you and be prepared for the entrance exam because admission in a top college is based on merit. There are 14 national law universities in India which give admission on the basis of CLAT score.

After Completion of your 10th you have many options in your 10+2 to choose.

But it is advisable to choose ARTS Stream as much part of syllabus of Arts is same as Syllabus of Law.

ELIGIBILITY:

* A candidate should have obtained Higher secondary School/Intermediate from a Recognized Board with not less than 45% Marks in Aggregate and 40% in case of SC and ST category students.

* A candidate's age should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July,2015.
