BITSAT is an entrance examination which is conducted by BITS, Pilani for admission to all Integrated First Degree programmes in BITS campuses. Eligibility criteria required to appear in BITSAT examination is mentioned below :-

--> You should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

--> Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in present year or who have passed 12th Examination in last year are eligible to appear in the upcoming BITSAT test.

If the candidate does not score atleast 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, then, he is not eligible to appear in BITSAT examination.

BITSAT is an entrance exam conducted for admission in BITS colleges.
Eligibility criteria for BITSAT:-
i)Candidate must have passed 10+2 system with PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Maths) and must have scored minimum 75% marks overall and 60% each in PCM.
ii)Also candidates appearing in 10+2 are eligible.
iii)Candidate who have passed 10+2 examination in 2013 or above will not be eligible.
iv)Candidate studying in any BITS campus will not be eligible.

As you mentioned you have ability more than what you got in PCM in 12th , you will not be eligible to apply for BITSAT as it require the candidate who fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria .

Ability as well as result is necessary for admission in any colleges.

Only ability/potential is of no use if you are not delivering at right time in this competitive world for better future.

If you haven't scored a minimum of 60% marks in PCM than I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for BITSAT.

The required marks is as follows;

> Candidate should have obtained minimum 80% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together in qualifying examination and at least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Sorry to say, but,in that case the candidate will not be eligible to sit for the BITSAT exam.

Because, it is clearly mentioned in the eligibility criteria for the BITSAT exam that the candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in each subject i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 or equivalent.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for the BITSAT entrance examination conduct ed by the BITS for admission in various undergraduate courses .

According to the eligibility criteria guidelines it is clearly mentioned that the candidates who have passed the +2 board examination or appearing candidates who have secured an aggregate of 75% in PCM with at least 60 marks in each of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics are eligible .
They also nned the candidates to have proficient in English.

So you are not eligible for the BITSAT but still there are many colleges in which you can apply for the admission .
So go with other if you want to take admission.

As per marks criteria, you are not eligible for BITSAT exam.

Those candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country are eligible for BITSAT exam. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates must be proficient in English also.

No. By just scoring 60% of marks individually in Physics, Chemistry and Maths is not sufficient you have to score overall 75% as aggregate in all these three subjects then only you will be eligible for appearing in BITSAT.

Please Click Here to download the brochure where eligibility criteria for admissions through BITSAT is discussed clearly. Also you can find the courses for which you will be eligible through BITSAT scores.

No, if a candidate is unable to secure minimum 60% marks in each of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then he is NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT Examination.

Percentage Criteria required to appear in BITSAT Exam:

>> Candidate must have secured a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
AND
>> Candidate should have obtained at least 60% marks in Each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Remember, a candidate is eligible to appear in BITSAT Examination only when he/ she meets the above two conditions for sure. If fails to meet the criteria, he/ she cannot appear in BITSAT entrance examination.

Yes, a student if scored 75% in 12th standard but unable to score 75% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, still he/she can appear for BITSAT. But he/she will be eligible only if he/she has achieved 75% marks aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Otherwise he/she will not be eligible for BITSAT.
