Whether Open University certificate is valid for SBI jobs or not?

Yes, Open University Certificate is Valid for SBI jobs . But the Open University should be registered under AICTE Or UGC . Othere wise it will not valid in any certain exams or in any University for higher study.

If your university is recognized by UGC then you are eligible for SBI exam.

If you have completed your graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for SBI clerk and PO exam.

Age criteria:-

18 to 28 years(SBI clerk)

21 to 30 years(SBI PO)

SC/ST – 5 Years
OBC-3 Years
People with disability (PWD) –Gen- 10 years

Sorry to say that certificate from open university is not valid from SBI job. Those candidates who are interested to apply for an SBI PO exam must complete their Graduation from a recognized university. So, you are ineligible to apply for an SBI PO exam. However, you are eligible to apply for SBI Clerk exam.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria:

- Aspirants must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examinations in any discipline with 60% of marks from a recognized university and final year aspirants are also eligible.

- Aspirants should attain 18 years of minimum age, but not pass 28 years and upper age limit for SC/ST applicants is 5 years. In OBC applicants (who are eligible to avail reservation) upper age limit is 3 years.

Yes Open University certificate is valid for SBI recruitments but only when that university is recognized university. The minimum education qualification required in order to be eligible for appearing in SBI PO or Clerical Cadre recruitment examinations is "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree in ANY DISCIPLINE from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks. Candidates whoever Pass their Graduation from university recognized as such by the Central Government. If your university is recognized by the Central Government, then I am sure you are eligible to apply for SBI related recruitments. Candidates who are appearing in their final year examinations are also eligible to apply for SBI Probationary Officer or SBI Clerical Cadre recruitments. The minimum age required to apply for SBI related examinations is 20 years and the maximum age must not exceed 28 years and there will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms. Remember, if that Open University is not a recognized by the Central Government in that case that Open University Certificate is not valid.

SBI stands for State Bank of India. Minimum qualification for SBI entrance is graduation degree. A candidate having graduation degree is able to apply for examination. It doesn't matter that you completed your graduation from a regular or open university. The thing which matter is that university must be AICET approved and well recognized.

Yes dear, Open university certificate is valid for getting the jobs in SBI. As Open university is also highly reputed and recognized university. So, as being the student of Open university you can get the jobs without facing any problem.
For getting the jobs in SBI you will have to qualify the entrance exams conducted by them.After qualifying the exam you will have to follow the job getting procedure.

Sorry, to say that the candidate who has completed his/her graduation in distance mode can not apply for the SBI Jobs. The certificates provided by the open University are not valid to apply for the SBI Jobs. The SBI bank will not accept the graduation certificates from Open University.

If the Open University is a Recognized University of the UGC then the Certificate of that Open University is valid for SBI Jobs.
If the Certificate is not from a recognized University then it is not valid for the SBI Job.

Open university candidates are eligible for SBI Exams if that university is recongized.You need to enquire whether it is recongized or not. If it is recongnized you are eligible.Good Luck.

No..Actually those open universities which is recognised by UGC(University Grants Commission) are valid for all govt jobs.It may be Central govt recognition,State govt govt recognition.But dont think that only central recognition is valid.All universities recognition body is same as UGC
May that university belongs from State govt university or Central govt university.But if you will say that only central govt open university is valid for jobs
