How to become a Train Engine Driver?

Candidates who want to become a railway engine driver should qualify the concerned exam conducted by the RRB. Once the training is completed the person is appointed as an Assistant Loco Pilot (Goods). They work on freight trains for as long as 10–12 years.

To apply for Engine driver you need to fulfill
some requirements which is given below:-

You should complete at least matriculation with ITI from the recognised University with minimum percentage of marks.
Age should be in between these limits
Minimum age: 18years
Maximum age: 30 years
Age relaxation allowed as per government norms.

To apply for the post you need to clear the "RRB Exam" which is conducted by Indian Railways "about 17 Zones".
