Re: How to do internship in Microsoft? Registration process and eligibility?
Microsoft has a cutoff CGPA, so candidates whose ranks are below the cutoff are not eligible to apply for internship in Microsoft.
Candidates who are in 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduation in the field of computer science are eligible to apply for internship in Microsoft. In order to apply for internship in Microsoft at first you have to contact your college and prepare a recommendation letter provided by the training and placement cell of your college. Get a NOC too from your college. Prepare a detailed resume and an application mentioning that you are interested to do internship and the department in which you want to get trained. Send the resume along with the application and NOC to the HR department of Microsoft. After applying you will have to prepare for a written test conducted by Microsoft. The recruitment process consists of 3 rounds. Round 1 : In this round students have to solve a problem statement with an algorithm. Round 2 : In this round technical questions are asked related to the subjects of interest and basics of computer science field. Round 3 : The final round is mainly a personal interview with the HR. Normal and simple questions are asked about the career and some general knowledge. After clearing the interview one can get selected as an intern in Microsoft. |
