MBA :- Master of Business Administration

Generally MBA is a good option for each and every option for each and everyone after graduation. if you are planning to do MBA then don't change your mind and just start preparation of MBA entrances (CAT,MAT,XAT,SNAP,IIFT etc. ) after MBA you will gain the managerial skills and leadership quality in you.

It is good that you are pursuing 2nd year of B-Pharmacy course.

Soon after completion of this course, I suggest you to go for job opportunity rather than higher studies.

You can get job opportunities in
Hospitals
pharmaceutical Companies
Chemical Laboratories
Food Processing Industries
Research Laboratories
Diagnostic Centers etc.

There you can work with any of the following departments
Production Department
QA Department
QC Department
Documentaton
R & D Department

You will be given good salaries in Pharmaceutical Companies.

I suggest you to go for higher studies only when you do not get a good job opportunity.

Having not interested to join M-Pharmacy course, I suggest you to opt for MBA course.

If you opt for MBA course, in addition to your Pharmacy knowledge, you will also get managerial skills which will benefit you both in personal life and also in professional life.

The following specializations would be good choice for you in MBA course.

MBA in Hospital Management
MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

Popular Entrance Exams that give admission for MBA course are
CAT
MAT
GMAT etc.

Have good preparation for the respective Entrance Exam and get admission for MBA course in a top college.

HI

If you see this year economy condition,
Pharmaceutical company are the major companies whose stock rose very high.
Infact they are some of the few companies which is in profit.

Health and Insurance sector is on rise in India and the future is very good.
with development, more and more pharmaceutical company would come to India, and they would require people for managerial position.

Going for MBA after Pharmacy would be a very very good choice.
Many companies which were not in this sector are also coming to this sector such as Reckitt Benkiser. ( recently it has taken over Paras pharmaceutical)

i'm about complete my b.pharm course and i'm confused in choosing my next step.. i wanna go abroad for my further studies and i dont have proper clarity to choose between M.S and mba... i've communication skills but i'm not pretty sure that tmarketing mba is preferable for girls.. and can i know what are all the career options after mba and M.S in usa

HI

MBA is good almost after any graduation course
MBA adds value weather you like your course or want to change your field.
Many people go for MBA because they are either not good in their graduation or dont have much interest in field in which they did their graduation.

Since you have done Pharmacy, you can go for MBA in pharmacy. Some good colleges like Narsee Monjee provide MBA in pharmacy. Since health sector is on rise in India. Number of jobs available would be more. So the scope is good.

I would ask you to go for MBA in pharmaceutical management. Since it is attached the degree pursued by you therefore it will be easy for you to get job in your work field only.

No,there is not any seperate for mba or mba (pharma) course for narsee monjee,you have to appear for nmat for it.

registration dates for nmat-2010 has been passed the last date was 06.12.2009

MBA(pharma) is good option for you,it has promissing career oppurtunity in India,however,you can also go for mba marketing.

institutes like IIPM (indian institute of pharmaceutical management) offer direct admission to it mba(pharma) courses.

as a post of hospital pharmacist , it is not require for doing mba,
there only require sound knowledge about dispensing medicine, patient complience, prescription etc, but if you hanve done mba , then don't worry
it can be helpful for your future promotion.

As you are a pharmacy candidates it will be good to join in pharmacy line .
if you are interested in mba then you can join there is no problem .
for this you have to appear entrance exam under cat, mat, xat, according to your rank in any of these you will get admission in college .....

MBA in pharmacy would be a good option in case you are planning for a managerial role in Pharma industry. Hospital Management is moreto do with managing the activities in a hospital and might not be in sync with your undergraduate specialization. In my opinion, MBA (Pharma) would be a good choice for specialization in MBA.

After pharmacy you can go for medical section because there is a huge opportunity in this section and you can shine in your life but if you feel discomfort then only choose MBA, I think.But surely MBA is a very good option to you but for this you have to prepare well and then you can go for it.If you want to to pursue this degree from private collage then it's totally on your money.
So choose yourself in which way you will go and do the best.

offcourse, MBA is a good course and is also beneficial also but if you want to do MBA then why you are doing pharmacy,you must have gone for courses in commerce field.still you may get some problem in understanding the concept of business and many more.i suggest you go for higher studies in medical field only.

after your under graduation it is better to do m.pharmacy because the same stream will be very helpful to your future than mba. if you have done mba you should have to go to the administration side and you your work will be very high because it is your duty to promote the drugs in the market

if you are not comfortable in M.pharma then you can change your aim,
