Post Re: Is mba a good option after pharmacy?

No,there is not any seperate for mba or mba (pharma) course for narsee monjee, you have to appear for nmat for it.

registration dates for nmat-2010 has been passed the last date was 06.12.2009

MBA(pharma) is good option for you,it has promissing career oppurtunity in India, however, you can also go for mba marketing.

institutes like IIPM (indian institute of pharmaceutical management) offer direct admission to it mba(pharma) courses.

Dear friend,
I am Anurag kumar, I go through the question stated by you and find that you are in great difficulty this time. So, according to me I suggest you to opt the same line which you have following from the last years, don't deflect from your path, think and go to do M.pharma which is best for you and your career.Well pharma MBA is also good for you which is recently added to the management course which give specialization in management of pharmacy. So, you have two option to select and to make your path fine,
I have given you my advice and lastly its on you to choose best among better.

an MBA degree is always good,
i think there is no real harm in doing an MBA because it will really give you lots of career opportunities, but still if you want to be in your field only then you can go for m.phrma

I will suggest you to go for MBA in which field you want,if you go for mba IN PHARMA then you will restrict yourself to the field of pharmacy only, will suggest you to go for some other field ,because other field has much wider scope.

its depend on you if you have done b pharma than it is better to do m pharma rather than simply following the fassion of running towards mba degree.
and after m pharma you can apply to any good company related to medicin

also i think after mba you will get limited opportunities
for scope in pharma in mba you can do hospital management course

MBA is a goos course and is also beneficial also but if you want to do MBA then why you are doing pharmacy, you must have gone for courses in commerce field.still you may get some problem in understanding the concept of business and many more.i suggest you go for higher studies in medical field only.

hi,
MBA in pharmacy would be a good option in case you are planning for a managerial role in Pharma industry. Hospital Management is more to do with managing the activities in a hospital and might not be in sync with your undergraduate specialization. In my opinion, MBA (Pharma) would be a good choice for specialization in MBA.

hello dear

you see, if you are interested to work with your pharmacy field ,then you must do mtech.

specially if you want to do research oriented jobs, then MTech is compulsary.

but if you are not interested to work in your pharmacy field, then it is essential to do MBA.

but one things you shoud remember, for getting promotion in company, MBA is essentially required.

all the best........
