Re: Placements in automobile engineering in India? @Everyone out there: Its easy to type out the Automotive companies in India and say you can get here and there. Did anyone try it? Lol. Of course not! But i did. I am an Automobile engineer 2016 pass-out. Tried my best and sent across a lot of resumes to the nation wide companies. But no response. One thing i can assure you is, if you have a person in the company in a high post, he/she can easily recommend you. Well, sorry to say that i am currently working in an IT company. Hope someone who reads this message will understand a true pain of an automobile engineer. |

Re: Placements in automobile engineering in India? I have just completed my 12th std exam... Now I am having some confusion in selecting automobiles or law....!!!! My brother is forcing me for law but I have more interest in automobile...!!! I think my 12th percentage will be not good around 60% so what should I do....? Please help me....!!!!! |

Hello friend, Automobile companies employ automotive engineering graduates as Supplier Warranty Recovery Specialist, Underbody Engineer, Senior Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer and Driver Instrumentation Engineer. So,one needs constant up gradation of skills to keep pace with technological advancements. Many of Automotive engineering graduates also join defense services of the country. Some even setup own business venture or take up traditional teaching profession. Pay package: - For fresh graduates the average pay package offered ranges in between Rs. 15,000 to Rs20,000 per month. However, the remuneration varies depending on the size of the organizations, profile, qualification and experience, depending on these factors they can earn as much high as Rs. 1,00,000 per month. I finished my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering last year, so I do not have any work experience. Re: Placements in automobile engineering in India? Its very important to do your automobile engineering college from a good college which offers promising placement in good companies. That should be your main criteria. As far as autombile engineers' demand is concerned its only increasing day by day. They do get stiff competition from mechanical engineers at times that is why as stated above the college from where you are pursuing this course is very important. Good luck

NIT's has always Exdcellent placement records.It has successfully placed its students in companies like- Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki India Pvt.Ltd. etc. Increasing number of Ancillaries and Inland manufaturers has boom this sector.Recently Tata Motors tie up with JAguar, and coming of companies lkie- BMW, Chevolet, PASSAT, etc. have just created number of job oppurtunity. Also switching of Bike companies in Car market.For example- Bajaj who is knee to launch his first small suv in competetion with NANO of worth 1.3Lacs and many others has risen the hopes among the candidates opting for Automobile/Robotics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering so that they can expect good career prospect in this field in India. Re: Placements in automobile engineering in India? u can do catia or pro-e since u can learn about the body shell designing & sheet metal designing of various parts in a car......as u completed ur UG u are also eligible to do ANSYS which improves ur knowledge in analysing the design |
