Re: When to get application forms for IPS Exam? IPS or the Indian Police Service is one of the most prestigious services in India at par with or next only to the IAS. Along with IAS, IFS (Indian Forest Service), the IPS is also an All India Service (AIS) so the person selected for the IPS may have to serve in any part of the country. But how can one appear for the IPS exam, who conducts it, and what is the IPS exam eligibility. All these questions are answered here. The IPS Exam is part of the Civil Services Exam conducted by the UPSC and not separate. Depending on your preferences and the rank you secure, you will be allotted the IPS. Application form for Civil Services Examination is available on both on line and off line mode. The Online Registration starts soon after declaring the Notification and you can fill the Online application form by visiting the Official website. You can also submit the application form Offline, which can be obtained directly form the Post Offices in India and after fill the application form, you have to send it to UPSC. The Notification is expected in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC Website on 04/Feb/2012. The last date of apply for this examination may be 05/March/2012. And the Preliminary examination may be held on 20/May/2012. So, please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination online or Offline and for complete details please check the official website - www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: When to get application forms for IPS Exam? hellow, IPS exam is conducted through UPSC.so,you have to proper notification about UPSC. The application form will be available from 04-02-2012 and the examination will be conducted on 20-05-2012. If you want to apply online, you must log in to www.upsconline.nic.in otherwise the form is available in various bank or in post office. thanks... |

Age limit- 21-30 years for a genral candidate, 21-33 years for a OBC candidates for a OBC candidate, 21-35 years for a SC\ST candidates. No. of attempts- four for a general candidate, seven for a OBC candidate, no such restriction for a SC\ST candidates. important dates-

Information Regarding Application Forms For Civil Service Exams In order to join the IPS(Indian Police Service) you need to clear the Civil Service Exams conducted by UPSC.. The forms shall be available to you in the month of February.. The Prelims are held in last week of May and the results for the Prelims shall be declared in the first half of August.. The Mains shall be conducted in the last week of October and the results shall be announced in the mid of March.. Hi dear  IPS - Indian Police Service It is a dream for every Indian to clear civil service exam and become as IPS.This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) For this exam minimum criteria for a candidate is:- *Candidate must be an Indian,Nepal or BHutan *Must be pass graduation *Age- 21 to 30 years age relax for SC/ST /OBC candidates minimum 5 times attempts for General catagory students. In the month January this exam date is declared by UPSC. published all NEWS PAPER. EXAM is divided 2 parts:- 1)Preliminary exam 2)Main exam In preliminary exam there is some optional subject on which you choose your own subject for optional. After clear your optional paper then they call you for final interview. This is the procedure for IPS exam. Good Luck for your Future............ |

And You have two Options to fill the Application form - Online or Offline. You can Also Fill the application form Offline, But for this you have to Purchase the Application form Directly form the Post Offices in India and after fill the application form, you have to send it to UPSC Comission. The examination will be conducted on 20-05-2012. The application form can be obtained from designated post office and head post office throughout the country.
