The application form, for the upcoming civil service exam, will be available from 04-02-2012.
The examination will be conducted on 20-05-2012.

The application form can be obtained from designated post office and head post office throughout the country. To apply online, you must refer to www.upsconline.nic.in.

IPS Stands for Indian Police Service, If your aim is to become IPS Officer, then please apply for the UPSC Civil services examination. The examination was Conducted By UPSC Every year in 2 stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination.

For This year Examination was Completed and If you are Interested in this examination to become IPS Officer, then please wait for the Next year Notification, The Notification of UPSC Civil services examination was Going to be declared in Next year in the Month of February.

And You have two Options to fill the Application form - Online or Offline.

The Online Registration was started soon after declaring the Notification and you can fill the Online application form By visit the Official website.

You can Also Fill the application form Offline, But for this you have to Purchase the Application form Directly form the Post Offices in India and after fill the application form, you have to send it to UPSC Comission.

The Notification was Going to be Published in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC Website on 04/Feb/2012.

The last date of apply for this examination was 05/March/2012.

And the Preliminary examination was Going to be held on 20/May/2012.

IPS - Indian Police Service

It is a dream for every Indian to clear civil service exam and become as IPS.This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

For this exam minimum criteria for a candidate is:-

*Candidate must be an Indian,Nepal or BHutan
*Must be pass graduation
*Age- 21 to 30 years
age relax for SC/ST /OBC candidates

minimum 5 times attempts for General catagory students.

In the month January this exam date is declared by UPSC.
published all NEWS PAPER.

EXAM is divided 2 parts:-

1)Preliminary exam
2)Main exam

In preliminary exam there is some optional subject on which you choose your own subject for optional.

After clear your optional paper then they call you for final interview.

This is the procedure for IPS exam.

Information Regarding Application Forms For Civil Service Exams

In order to join the IPS(Indian Police Service) you need to clear the Civil Service Exams conducted by UPSC..

The forms shall be available to you in the month of February..

The Prelims are held in last week of May and the results for the Prelims shall be declared in the first half of August..

The Mains shall be conducted in the last week of October and the results shall be announced in the mid of March..

The interview shall be held in the last week of April and the result shall be announced within 2 weeks of the interview..
