Re: Can I become CID Officer after the completion of B.Tech in IT? CID stands for CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT which is a specialised wing of Police Department of a State. Yes , you can join as a CID officer in this Department after completion of B. Tech. as this required a graduation degree from any recognised University within the age of 20 to 25 years. Hello friend,you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC.This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October. Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for CID exam.Also your age should be in between 18 years to 27 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. For more details you can visit to www.upsc.gov.in |
