Re: Outside state students eligible for WBJEE? Hi dear, AS in the name itself indicates West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination it is the students who could attempt for it are the residential of West Bengal. so refer this , http://www.askiitians.com/Engineerin...ility-Criteria For at least 10 yrs residential to WB is mandatory So, I think outside candidates should not apply for it. So u can try for IIT -JEE Thanks |

Re: Outside state students eligible for WBJEE? friends, outsiders(i.i.those students who are not hailing from west bengal) are eligible for wbjee. But,only if you qualify the exam ,outsiders during counselling do not get admission in government colleges(except Jadavpur University and Chittpur engineering college). But all other private/self financed institutes are open for them. All the Best for your entrances. |

Re: Outside state students eligible for WBJEE? there are not mentioned in the information brochure that outside of west bengal student can not appear in the WBJEE. in that case i think student from outside of west bengal also may apply. even i have seen in previous year that there are so many engineering student taken admission through WBJEE but they are out side of west bengal. so i don't think that there is any restriction that only west bengal student can appear in WBJEE. best wishes. |
