Re: What is the date of NET entrance exam? Dear, NET Examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year to determine the Eligibility for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship Post. The examination is Conducted in June and December every year. For Previous year both NET Examination was already completed. If you have completed your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University, then you are eligible for NET Examination. But you have to scored minimum 55% marks in your PG. Those who failed to scored minimum 55% marks in Post graduation are not eligible for NET Examination. Wait for notification of June NET Examination will be Published soon in the month of March/April 2012. When the Notification declared it will be published in the official website. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only, the application fees of NET Examination is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI Bank. http://ugcnetonline.in |

NET- NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice every year one in the month of June and other in the month of December for selection of Lectureship and award of JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) The candidate who has completed Post Graduation with at least 55% marks in any discipline from a recognised University above the age of 19 years can apply for NET. There is no upper as bar for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF must be within 28 years of age. The notification for this year June exam is yet to be announced which is expected in the month of March-April through the official website of UGC i.e. www.ugcnetonline.in The NET can be applied through UGC website. The selection is through written exam comprises of all objective type questions on the basis of subject of respective post graduation. For more information you may log on to www.ugcnetonline.in |

Hai, The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and foraward of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in theteaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. Notification will come in march for june month exam and for december month exam notification will come in september. you can apply online only with this link - http://www.ugcnetonline.in/ Eligibility:- Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any recognised university. Age of candidate is 28 for jrf and for lecturership no upper age limit. Next net exam will be held in last week of june month 2012. Complete detail--- www.ugc.ac.in |

From this year Onward's all the NET papers will be Objective, No descriptive papers in NET Examination and no negative marking.
