Re: Am I eligible for government sector exam if I am 34.6 years old under SC category? I know clearly about IAS and its strict rules and regulations as per IAS norms every candidate who is willing to apply for this entrance must not exceed the upper age limit of 30 years when in the case of general and for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC all these reserved categories have age relaxation the relaxations of upper age limit are as follows ->for SC./ST the age is relaxed upto 5 years of upper age limit ->For OBC the age is relaxed upto 3 years of upper age limit but as per your age criteria your's is last attempt if you write this year CSE but as you did not appliedf for the exam this year it is not possible to write the exam again |

Re: Am I eligible for government sector exam if I am 34.6 years old under SC category? Hello, Generally governmental jobs(civil services) are directly related with exams conducted by UPSC, SSC, UGC etc. Because these exams are conducted for the aspect of providing top class officers in either IAS, IPS, income tax officers, drug inspectors, custom officers or other alloyed services, which are directly concerns with governmental (civil) priority. Basically age limit for appearing in UPSC exam is 21-31yr.(general category) and like wise for SSC, UGC. There is relaxation in age for reserved categories(SC/ST/OBC). In this regard there are exam norms and you can visit the official site of UPSC-www.upsc.gov.in and for SSC-www.ssconline.nic.in |
