If your Completed B.tech in Mechanical Course without any backlogs then your eligible for IES Examination

:::: IES stands for Indian Engineering Service ::::


This Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service and this Examination is held every once in a year .

Eligibility Criteria Required for IES Examination :-


You should be Passed in Graduation in Engineering Course (or) Equivalent course from recognized university
Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination ..

No Minimum Percentage of marks required for this Entrance Examination ..

(OR)

You should Complete M.Sc. degree Course / Equivalent Course in any one of the Specialization Wireless Communication / Electronics / Radio Physics / Radio Engineering from recognized University ..

Age Limits :

Your age should be Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years and upper age limit relaxable should be Applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

How to Apply :-

You may apply for this Examinaton in Online Mode by Visting the Official website of UPSC .. There is No Offline Mode in this Examination .

There is no issue with your educational qualification .. So, If your Completed your B.tech course without any back your definitely eligible for IES Entrance Examination ..

HI!
I am happy o inform you that you are eligible for Indian Engineering services Exam.

I.E.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

The age limit for I.E.S exam is 21-30 year.


ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2012
Date of notification:- 10.03.2012
Last date of submission of form:- 09.04.2012(MONDAY)
Last date of submission of form:- 15.06.2012(FRIDAY)

Dear friend,
If you are interested in IES
Then I should tell you that as you are from Mechanical engineering
Then you are eligible for IES examination.

These streams are eligible for IES examination :

>>Civil Eng.
>>Mechanical Eng.
>>Electrical Eng.
>>Electronics And communication Eng


But you will have to fulfill these criteria

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate must be a graduate with at least 60% marks.

2.Age criteria :
The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.

3.Backlog criteria :
You should not have any pending backlogs.

IES-INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE conducted by UPSC once every year for recruitment of Engineers in the top Technical post under Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Telecommunication Dept. under Central Govt.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree in any stream of Engineering or pass from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years which the upper age relaxed for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidate.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview. The written test will be from the subjects from Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Telecommunication branches.

You can apply for IES exam in the final year of your B.Tech. studies.

The eligibility criteria for IES Exam is as follows:

Age limits:

21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination. (Upper age limit relax able for SCs/Sts, OBCs).

Educational Qualifications:

A degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent. M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain Services/posts only.
Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible to compete. Candidates qualifying on the result of the written part of the Examination will be required to submit the proof of passing the requisite examination along with their detailed application form to be filled up at that stage.

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in Indian Engineering Organizations and this exam being conducted every year by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)


> For writing this exam the candidate need to have completed a degree from the following department in order to be eligible to apply for the IES Exam

Only candidates who have completed done their graduation in Engineering/Technology in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering


are only eligible.

The other criteria's would include such as Nationality and Age Limit


>> You need to be a citizen of India and candidates should also have a age limit of 21-30 years for General category.

>> The candidates should also have a age limit of 21-35 years for SC/ST category.

>> The candidates should also have a age limit of 21-33 years for OBC category.

In order to be eligible, first of all you need to complete your B.Tech program. After completion of the program, you will be eligible to apply for the Engineering Services Examination, conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
The Engineering Services Exam is conducted only for the four disciplines of engineering including Mechanical Engineering.
As far as the age limit is concerned, the minimum eligible age to write the Engineering Services Exam is 21 years whereas the maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 35 years for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.
Candidates holding a bachelors degree in engineering can write the exam irrespective of the marks secured in the same.
