Let me list down the eligibility criteria for IITJEE:- 1)The candidate should not be more than 25 years of age. 2)The candidate should secure at least 60%(for general and OBC) in class 12 and 55%(for SC/ST/PD) in class 12 3)No candidate can sit for more than 2 times 4)A candidate can appear either in the year of appearing class 12 or just next year A candidate who wishes to sit for IITJEE should satisfy all the points, Since your marks requirement is less(if you are general/OBC) you are not eligible for IITJEE. |

Re: Can I appear for this years IIT JEE after scoring 57% in PCM? For iitjee,u need to have 60%in aggregate.It doesn't matter whether ur pcm marks are 60% or not.So,if percentage marks are above 60%,u can give iitjee.good luck. |

Dear sir/madam, i am 21 years old studying second year diploma in ece, i will complete it next year in may 2013. I had appeared for iit jee in 2009 the same year i had passed my +2 with 57% in pcm. Re: Can I appear for this years IIT JEE after scoring 57% in PCM? You can't appear for IIT 2012. To apply for IIT JEE exam you should have 60% marks in 12th in PCM. One important factor is that you can apply for IIT Two time only.one with your 12th class and second next year of the 12th class after this this you can't apply for IIT exam. You have passed 12th in 2009 so you are not eligible for IIT entrance exam. You are not eligible according to both Marks and Chance to apply. |

YEs you can provided you fulfill ,the basic eligibility criteria for the Candidates belonging to GENERAL and OBC categories ,60% marks in aggregate in QE( qualifying exam . SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE. Hope this information helps. |
