Dear sir/madam,
i am 21 years old studying second year diploma in ece. I had appeared for iit jee in 2009 the same year i had passed my +2 with 57% in pcm. Can I appear for IIt Jee 2012. Please help me out.

YEs you can provided you fulfill ,the basic eligibility criteria for the Candidates belonging to GENERAL and OBC
categories ,60% marks in
aggregate in QE( qualifying exam . SC, ST and PD candidates must
secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IIT-JEE exam.Because 12th standard marks is below 60%.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IIT-JEE :-

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

AGE CRITERIA:-

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

You can't appear for IIT 2012.

To apply for IIT JEE exam you should have 60% marks in 12th in PCM.

One important factor is that you can apply for IIT Two time only.one with your 12th class and second next year of the 12th class after this this you can't apply for IIT exam.

You have passed 12th in 2009 so you are not eligible for IIT entrance exam.

You are not eligible according to both Marks and Chance to apply.

i am 21 years old studying second year diploma in ece, i will complete it next year in may 2013. I had appeared for iit jee in 2009 the same year i had passed my +2 with 57% in pcm. Can I again appear for IIt Jee 2013. Then i would have scored more than 60% in my diploma. I want to give my exam according to diploma result basis. Is it neccesary that +2 result will also be taken into consideration along with my diploma result. Please help me out.

how many times i appear in iit jee exam

since from 2013 onwards iit jee is no more....can i sit for 2013 exam if i fail to qualify in 2012.

For iitjee,u need to have 60%in aggregate.It doesn't matter whether ur pcm marks are 60% or not.So,if percentage marks are above 60%,u can give iitjee.good luck.

CAN I APPEAR FOR IIT JEE 2013 AND I HAVE THE MATRICULATION EXAM IN 2009

I'm sorry to say, but you cannot appear for IIT-JEE 2013 as you have passed the 12th board examination much earlier.

Eligibility for IIT-JEE 2012

Year of Passing Qualifying Examination (QE)

To appear in IIT-JEE 2012, a candidate must have either passed the QE for the first time, on or after October 1, 2010 or appearing for the first time in 2012. Those who are going to appear in the QE later than September 30, 2012 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.

Dear sir, I apeared in iit jee two times. Can i apeared one time more due to change in pattern?

Let me list down the eligibility criteria for IITJEE:-
1)The candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
2)The candidate should secure at least 60%(for general and OBC) in class 12 and 55%(for SC/ST/PD) in class 12
3)No candidate can sit for more than 2 times
4)A candidate can appear either in the year of appearing class 12 or just next year

A candidate who wishes to sit for IITJEE should satisfy all the points, Since your marks requirement is less(if you are general/OBC) you are not eligible for IITJEE.
