You are not eligibe for the indian airforce being a candidate of arts stream in 12th standard because mathematics and physics as main subjects in 12th standard. Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:- > Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board. > Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year. > Must be citizen of India > Medically fit (no major surgery) ALL THE BEST |

HI! I am sorry to say that you are eligible for Indian Air Force after passing 12th with arts stream. If you want you can join Indian Army after passing 12th with Arts Stream. For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy Exam. Information about National Defence Academy(N.D.A) Exam N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice. I am persuing my BEE from Pune University..My year of passing is July 2012...But my aggregate marks is less than 60%...For applying in air force through AFCAT eligiblity criteria is aggregate should be min 60%..What are the other modes to apply in Indian AirForce as an officer other than CDS & AFCAT.... |

Here is the eligibility follows, if you are fulfill the following eligibility then you are eligible for the indian airforce. To join in indian airforce you need to crack the NDA exam, this exam was conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria: **The candidate should be complete 2 from any recognised board with the mathematics and physics as main subjects. **Candidate must be physically fit. **Candidate should be physically fit. **Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19years. **Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. **Girls are not eligible for this exam. Important dates for upcoming NDA exam: Date of announcement :05.05.12 Last date for submitting the application form :04.06.12 Date of examination :19.08.12 Selection procedure: Written test, Interview, Medical test. Educational Qualifications: For admission to the examination, a candidate must have (any one of the following): • For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. • For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. • Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAM: It is conducted basically to recruit candiates for pre commissioned training in national defence college,khadakwasla to be posted aa officer in any indian army.Details about NDA exam is mentioned below: NATIONALITY: Indian MARITAL STATUS: Unmarried males only allowed. You are not eligibe for the indian airforce being a candidate of arts stream in 12th standard because mathematics and physics as main subjects in 12th standard. Eligibility criteria: You should be complete 12th with a recognise board. Mathematics and physics subjects are compulsory in 12th standard. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
