Being in arts stream can i join in indianairforce...please tell me if i can join it

First of all you did not mentioned your educational qualification, if you mentioned it i will suggest you the good information.

You are not eligibe for the indian airforce being a candidate of arts stream in 12th standard because mathematics and physics as main subjects in 12th standard.

Eligibility criteria:
You should be complete 12th with a recognise board.

Mathematics and physics subjects are compulsory in 12th standard.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
Interview,
Medical test.

your not eligible to join Indian Air force or navy being a Arts stream graduate.arts stream student are eligible to join in army only through NDA exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAM:
It is conducted basically to recruit candiates for pre commissioned training in national defence college,khadakwasla to be posted aa officer in any indian army.Details about NDA exam is mentioned below:
NATIONALITY:
Indian
MARITAL STATUS:
Unmarried males only allowed.
AGE:
16.5 to 19 years.
Qualifications:
you should have a 12th pass or appearing in any stream
you should have a 12th pass or appering in science stream for airforce or navy.
SELECTION PROCEDURE

• written exam
• SSB interview
• Medical test
• Fitness test

EXAM PATTERN:
paper-I
mathematics-300 marks
paper-II
General ability-600 marks

NDA Exam is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission .

To apply for this examination , you should have a completed intermediate(12th) examination or equivalent qualification and you have to complete 12th exam with physics , chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects in your examination .If you are not studied then your not eligible to apply for Indian Air force examination . If you are studied then you are eligible to apply.

You should have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply .

Selection Procedure :- Written exam , Medical Exam , Physical exam .

Syllabus of this exam :- General ability , Mathematics .

If you are completed graduate degree , then you have to crack the CDS exam .

CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year .

To apply for this examination , you should have a completed graduate degree with physics and mathematics subjects at 12th level examination or engineering degree candidate may also eligible . Those who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply.

You should have a minimum 19 years and maximum 23 years and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply .


Selection Procedure :- Written exam , Medical Exam , Physical exam .

Syllabus of this exam :- General Knowledge , English Language and Mathematics .

i think you are not eligible for the indian air force beng a arts student
because there are a test for the indian air force which is of NDA it is given by the students who completed their 12th with science stream .

the eligiblity for the NDA test is
Eligibility for NDA

the candidate should be passed his 12th with science stream ,and shoul be indian

Age Limits:
• Candidate born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1996.

Educational Qualifications:

For admission to the examination, a candidate must have (any one of the following):
• For Army wing of National Defence Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

• For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

INDIAN AIRFORCE ELIGIBLITY

12TH Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with physics and mathematics conducted by a state education board or a university

candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply

So you can apply Air Force !!

Air force height and weight standard

the minimum acceptable height in Air Force - 162.5cms


weight - for 16-17 yrs - 48 kgs
17-18 yrs - 50 kgs
18-19 yrs - 51 kgs

You did not mention your educational qualification, if you are completed 2 from any recognised state board.

Here is the eligibility follows, if you are fulfill the following eligibility then you are eligible for the indian airforce.

To join in indian airforce you need to crack the NDA exam, this exam was conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:

**The candidate should be complete 2 from any recognised board with the mathematics and physics as main subjects.

**Candidate must be physically fit.

**Candidate should be physically fit.

**Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19years.

my age is 30 years old and i had complete BA (arts) 2005. i want to know that any option about in indian army

I am persuing my BEE from Pune University..My year of passing is July 2012...But my aggregate marks is less than 60%...For applying in air force through AFCAT eligiblity criteria is aggregate should be min 60%..What are the other modes to apply in Indian AirForce as an officer other than CDS & AFCAT....

I am sorry to say that you are eligible for Indian Air Force after passing 12th with arts stream.

If you want you can join Indian Army after passing 12th with Arts Stream.
For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy Exam.

Information about National Defence Academy(N.D.A) Exam

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)
