You can go through the given link and get the syllabus for AIIMS http://www.aiims.edu/aiims/academic/aiims-syllabus/ The question paper is purely objective in nature.There are 200 questions totally split into the following categories Physics (60) Chemistry (60) Biology (60) General knowledge (20) So,prepare well for the exams and score well. |

Re: Syllabus for aiims mbbs entrance exam for 2010? hy!!!!m the student of 11th standard... & i wish to be selected in mbbsa exam of aiims.... i deadly inspire to join aiims but my problem is that i dont know what all should i study for the preparation of cpmt... m weak in g.k so what all newspaper, magazines, or journals should i consult which can help me the most... m an isc & icse board student so as i saw above more preference was given to cbse board.... and bcoz of this m in a bit tension.... so just provide me a bit guidence on how to study? -what to study? -what to emphasis on? -what all to prefer(as per subject)i mean the basic topics of max. question? |

As far as syllabus is conncerned you can download it from the aims website which ishttp://www.aiims.edu But the course is generally of 12 standard and all three subjects namely physics , chemistry, and biology is asked. You can even purchase the books from the market and the course is also mentined there too. |

Surface Anatomy (a) Surface features of the body and projection of the outline of heart, its borders, surfaces and valves, lungs, their borders, fissures and hila, pleura, liver, kidneys and various abdominal and pelvic organs and important vessels and nerves 13. Cross Sectional Anatomy Cross sections of thorax, abdomen and pelvis to understand the interrelationship of organs and structures. II. Microanatomy Microscope and basic principles of microscopy, commonly used stains, basophilic and acidophilic staining reactions and their significance. Commonly encountered artifacts. Provided pdfs are useless they're for the MBBS course not the EE. Syllabus for AIIMS entrance exam was & still is unknown...& there isn't one in the first place. But 50% ques come from the AIPMT syllabus, 10% Gk, 20% Assertion reasoning & the remaining 20% from Olympiads (phy/chem/bio). This yr (2010) a typical example goes something like this... Q) The emf of an electron microscope is changed from say 'x' kV to 'y' kV. What is the change in magnification (resolving power) of the microscope? Feeling dumb... eh!? |
