Re: Can I give UPSC exam after taking Metallurgy branch as my subject? eligibility criterion of the examination is a minimum degree from any recognized Indian University. and the age required for the same is 21 years and the maximum age limit for general candidate is 30 years. I think there is no optional subject called Metallurgy but you can take any optional subject from the list of optional subjects. provided by UPSC here is the list just have a look upon it. >>Mathematics >>Agriculture >>Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science >>Botany.................. |

Re: Can I give UPSC exam after taking Metallurgy branch as my subject? Yes of course you can .Metallurgy branch is eligible for UPSC. If your age is in between 21 to 30 years(for general )and 3 to 5 years relaxetion are given for sc/st/obc , then you are eligible. thank you |

Yes , You are eligible for UPSC exam. Metallurgy departments are eligible for UPSC exam. Those candidate have passed graduation from any recognized university are eligible for UPSC exam. But your age must be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per govt rule. If you want any information about UPSC exam . You can visit UPSC own website.
