Re: Can I give UPSC exam after taking Metallurgy branch as my subject? eligibility criterion of the examination is a minimum degree from any recognized Indian University. and the age required for the same is 21 years and the maximum age limit for general candidate is 30 years. I think there is no optional subject called Metallurgy but you can take any optional subject from the list of optional subjects. provided by UPSC here is the list just have a look upon it. >>Mathematics >>Agriculture >>Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science >>Botany.................. |

Yes , You are eligible for UPSC exam. Metallurgy departments are eligible for UPSC exam. Those candidate have passed graduation from any recognized university are eligible for UPSC exam.
