Which positions I can get in Merchant Navy? hiii to join merchant navy after B.Tech Merchant Navy Details You cannot join in Merchant Navy, only way is that with your +2 qualification join Deck Cadet and then go for three year training and write the Exam for Higher Posting Only Mechanical or Marine or B.Sc in Nautical Science can do Merchant Navy It has Three posting Navigation Loading and Off Loading of the Cargo and Safety of the Passenger and the Crew Depends on the Navigation Officer Capitan of the Ship is the Chief Navigator Eligibility Mechanical Engineering,Marine Engineering or B.Sc Nautical Science from Recognized University or Institute Engineering -->They are Responsible for Efficient and Smooth Operation of the Ship -->Take Care of all Engineering Equipment installed on the Ship |

Students who have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for Merchant Navy course. For SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years. Age requirement is not more than 20 years. You can join Merchant Navy after and after your garduation also you apply for Merchant Navy, To join Merchant Navy you need to give the entrance exam of various colleges which offers this degree,There after completing your degree you will be placed in some Shipping company,Initially you will be given training for 1 year after that you will get a Tag(post) on your back and you will be permanant....Its a good choice to join the Merchant Navy ...!!! |
