Re: Name of Banks for getting GATE Application Forms HI Earlier GATE forms were available with CANARA bank but now you can fill the form online and pay the challan at SBI branch. Then you need to take print out of online form along with other documents like challan, caste certificate etc and send it to nearby IIT or the IIT conducting the GATE exam. You can appear for any number of time to GATE exam. all the best |

The GATE exam time duration is 3 hours.There are maximum of 65 questions,which are of objective type.....there are 60 multiple type questions,four alternatives and some numerical type questions which are to be answered which contains answers in numbers... syllabus... it contains general aptitude and other subjects related to your course in B tech.... |

If you don,t have netbanking/debit card facility,then you have to apply the application form by paying challan in the bank. This post is really important for all the GATE aspirants. The forms for GATE 2010 are out and are available at Bank Branches in the respective IITs and IISc zones. There in total 8 zones as follows, follow the links to get the list of the places and the banks from where the Application forms and Information Brochure can be procured : IISc Bangalore IIT Madras IIT Kanpur IIT Kharagpur IIT Delhi IIT Bombay IIT Guwahati IIT Roorkee For more details you can log on to http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2010_website/forms.php . The Application Forms and the Information Brochure can be obtained at designated bank branches by giving a cash payment of Rs. 1000/- for General and OBC category and 500/- for ST/SC/PD category.
