Re: Alternative exam for GATE pharmacy 2010? hello friend i would like to tell you that GATE exam is replaced with GPAT exam syllabus for gpat is same as that for gate and it is going to be conducted on 3may 2010 and its score is valid for 1year |

Re: Alternative exam for GATE pharmacy 2010? hi friend , here is a good news for u, from this year onwards for pharmacy students AICTE decided to conduct an exam in gate named as graduate pharmacy aptitude test (gpat). by this exam u can also get fellowships/scholarships . so u can write this test by preparing well this gpat exam pattern is 100 multiple choice type of questions only.each right answer will carry 1 mark wrong answer will result of deduction of 1/3 mark. so u can prepare for this exam with u r good effort, u can also appear for another exam cet(common entrance test) best of luck.............. |

Re: Alternative exam for GATE pharmacy 2010? in order to facilitate admission of Pharmacy graduates in M.Pharm as also to award fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduates, AICTE decided to organize and conduct an examination in the name of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) with effect from academic year 2010-11. Persons holding Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) or appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) in the year 2010 only are eligible for appearing for GPAT-2010 examination. The GPAT-2010 question paper will consist of one hundred (100 No.) multiple choice objective questions only. Candidates have to mark the correct choice by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question on an Optical Response Sheet (ORS). Since,from this year there is no GATE exam for M.pharma an alternate exam naming- Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) is intoduce for scholarships/admission to MPharm programmers’ in Pharmaceutical Sciences,which will be conducted by National Monitoring Committee under the banner of AICTE. More details regarding this can be found at the websites of MS University Baroda and AICTE. Best of luck
