what is the alternative exam for gate pharmacy 2010 ?

the gate office has not announced the date for alternate exam for pharmacy ,keep visiting the gate2010 website from time time for further information regarding it.

its given in gate brochure that there will be an alternative exam for pharmacy students .the details of which are yet to be announced

GATE pharmacy will be placed by CET.That is common entrance test.

There is no gate exam for pharmacy as of now but can attend the common entrance tests conducted by the repective institutions.

which is better carrier option for pharmacy GATE OR GRE?do recession have any effect on pharmaceutical company in USA?which will lead to a bright future?

GATE is valid for this year also so practice well ...........

gate is replaced by CEt by this year so go for it...common entrance test

there is a exam GPAT which is is conducted now this year which is valid for 1 year

please give me information about the alternative exam for gate pharmacy. i am awaiting for the final year b.pharm exam.

Since,from this year there is no GATE exam for M.pharma an alternate exam naming- Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) is intoduce for scholarships/admission to MPharm programmers’ in Pharmaceutical Sciences,which will be conducted by National Monitoring Committee under the banner of AICTE. More details regarding this can be found at the websites of MS University Baroda and AICTE.

in order to facilitate admission of Pharmacy graduates in M.Pharm as also to award fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduates, AICTE decided to organize and conduct an examination in the name of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) with effect from academic year 2010-11.

Persons holding Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) or appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) in the year 2010 only are eligible for appearing for GPAT-2010 examination.

The GPAT-2010 question paper will consist of one hundred (100 No.) multiple choice objective questions only. Candidates have to mark the correct choice by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question on an Optical Response Sheet (ORS). Each right answer will carry one mark while for each wrong answer 1/3 (one third) negative marks will be deducted.

here is a good news for u, from this year onwards for pharmacy students AICTE decided to conduct an exam in gate named as graduate pharmacy aptitude test (gpat). by this exam u can also get fellowships/scholarships . so u can write this test by preparing well
this gpat exam pattern is 100 multiple choice type of questions only.each right answer will carry 1 mark wrong answer will result of deduction of 1/3 mark.
so u can prepare for this exam with u r good effort,
u can also appear for another exam cet(common entrance test)

one of the exam i can suggest you is niper.............

i dont think any alternative is there but you can still apply for G-pat or cet as in my openion they are the substitutes and i hope you get them so all the best and good luck for them ...

GATE HAVE BEEN REPLACED with CET this year.So do your preparations with full dedication as these CET are not going to be less harder then GATE exams.

hello friend i would like to tell you that GATE exam is replaced with GPAT exam
syllabus for gpat is same as that for gate and it is going to be conducted on 3may 2010
and its score is valid for 1year
