NDA entry : The exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC. After clearing the written exam you will have SSB interview. 2. Re: How to join Indian Army? Joining an Indian Army isn't the tough job. There are varied steps of life during the academic growth in which 1 gets the opportunity to serve the country, one is after the high school studies. In that, one must have plus 2 with maths and physics as compulsory subjects with 65 percent aggregate. Another after graduation in such a way that minimum criteria for the percentage is 60 percent and varied to 65 percent. Thus, the test comes out since the name of CDS or SSB. One of the key features is after graduation 1 possess the benefit to recruit as Lf, and after a month get a pole of captain. But the plus 2 student demand time to become the priest. NDA Stands for - National Defense Academy which is conducted by UPSC board and NDA has 3 different department relevant to defense services which are following with their eligibility criteria : 1. Indian Army : 12th passed candidates in any discipline from a recognized board/university 2. Indian Air force : 12th passed with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject from a recognized board 3. Indian Navy : 12th passed with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject from a recognized board with any one of these subjects - Computer Science/Biology/Chemistry Age limit for all above mentioned exams follows same - 16.5 to 19 years means you can not apply for this exam before the age of 1.65 years and after completion of 19 years and no relaxation in age. NDA exam conduct two times in a year which following about : NDA Phase I exam is going to be conducted at - 7th April 2013 NDA Phase II exam is going to be conducted at - 11th August 2013 Application form for this exam are available for this exam before the 3 months of the exam means you can not apply for NDA phase I but you can apply for Phase II exam between 04/05/2013 to 03/06/2013 and can appear for exam easily. If you are from ARTS stream then you are not eligible for the NDA entrance exams and hence not eligible to join "ARMY" The subjects which are required for the NDA entrance exams are-->> PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY AND MATHS. and in the ARTS streams there is no such subjects.Hence science stream is very necessary for NDA Only then aftre you can go for the NDA entrance exams conducted for the 12th std students. But you tells that there is no Ncc Certificate, you need not to worry about it. Secondly get prepare for exams like that Ssc, Cds and Uds etc. After clearing any of entrance test you can easily join Indian Army. Thank you. |

Re: How to join Indian Army? You don't need to worry regarding lack of NCC Certificate. It is not mandatory for the candidates in order to make entry into defence services like Indian Army but better if you have it. As you have completed Graduation, in order to join Indian Army, you have to crack CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services Exam). This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. This Exam is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in various defence services like Indian Military Academy Indian Naval Academy Indian Air Force Academy Officers Training Academy etc. One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream in order to be eligible to apply for IMA. But to get into Navy and Air Force, one should have Mathematics and Physics subjects compulsorily in their Graduation. As you are willing to apply for IMS, the required age limit for you will be 19-24 years. You should be an unmarried male candidate to give this Exam. In addition, you should be a citizen of India. After cracking this Exam, you have to give good performance in the Interview also. Then only you will get job in Indian Army. So, please collect the syllabus for the written exam and have good preparation for it. Wish you all the best. |

Re: How to join Indian Army? 1. Sorry 10th pass are not eligible for Indian Army and you must be atleast 10+2 pass if you want to join Indian Army. 2. So study further and complete your 10+2. If you opt Physics and Maths then it will be good for you because then you can apply for all the three wings of defense. 3. After passing 10+2 you can apply for NDA examination if you are interested in Officers post in Indian Army. 4. The age limit for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male of India. 5. The selection procedure will have an Objective Type Paper, SSB Interview and Medical Examination. If you manage to get top marks in these stages then you will surely join NDA. 6. You must be very well prepared for the exam and also you should have required physical fitness then only you can join NDA. 7. You can also apply for Non Officer post like Clerk, Nursing Assistant and General Duty Soldier after 10+2. The selection will be based on the Written exam and Physical fitness test. good luck |

There are some information please read: Indian Army - Applications are invited from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army. Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks. Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1991 and and 01 Jan 1994 (both days inclusive) Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18 Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Type of Commission : On successful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Indian Army HQ.
