Master of Computer Application of MCA as it is better known as is a post graduate degree of three years duration. Academic Eligibility Criteria: If you have completed your graduation with not less than 60 percent of marks then you can pursue this course. But the major criteria to satisfy in this regard is that you need to have mathematics at 10+2 level as otherwise you cannot apply for this course. A list of entrance exams can be given to pursue this course. Although they are the gateway to the top institutions but you can also pursue this course from other recognized universities where admission is given on the basis of your graduation marks. In some universities direct admission is also provided. But a degree from a recognized university always holds a lot of value in terms of better job opportunities and placements and therefore more desirable. Since there is no age criteria to satisfy as such therefore you can pursue this course whenever you want. List of MCA Entrance Exams:

Re: What will be the duration of MCA course? Mca stands for Master of Computer Application. It lets you enter the world of computers with all programming methodology. Its a 3 year course available in most of the colleges of India. But this course does not have a great job aspect as the placement package is not that huge. Please don't count on the negative side,if you have the passion then go for it. |
