MCA stands for Master of Computer Application

It's an Master degree Course and the Duration of the Course is for 3 years and the Course is divided into six semester .

You have not Mention your Academic Qualification details , To Apply for MCA Course then you should Complete Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized University .

One Must score Minimum 60% Percentile of marks in Bachelor degree .Some Colleges are given relaxation for sc/st candidates for 5% Percentage of marks .

There is no Age Limit for this MCA Course . Any Applicant who Satisfy the Educational Qualification then candidate may eligible to apply for MCA Course .

Mathematics Subject is Mandatory to apply for MCA Course , So you should studied Mathematics as Main subject in 12th standard / Bachelor degree Course then Only your eligible to apply for MCA Course .

The Admission for this MCA Course is based on the Entrance Examination scores . So, You need to score good percentile of marks in Entrance Examination .

MCA is a very good career option primarily for those who have inclination towards IT discipline. This degree will give you better exposure in the job market. So if you have an interest in computer application then it is always a very good decision to go for MCA.

Master of Computer Application of MCA as it is better known as is a post graduate degree of three years duration.

Academic Eligibility Criteria:

If you have completed your graduation with not less than 60 percent of marks then you can pursue this course.

But the major criteria to satisfy in this regard is that you need to have mathematics at 10+2 level as otherwise you cannot apply for this course.

A list of entrance exams can be given to pursue this course. Although they are the gateway to the top institutions but you can also pursue this course from other recognized universities where admission is given on the basis of your graduation marks. In some universities direct admission is also provided. But a degree from a recognized university always holds a lot of value in terms of better job opportunities and placements and therefore more desirable.
