enrolling in AMIETE IS TOTOLLY USELESS. wastage of time and money. please work hard and join some good institute which is affiliated to some university which is ugc approved.
IETE is a professional society not recognised by UGC.

Hello.. AMIETE is not recognized by AICTE. It is a professional independent body providing degree to the students in the specialized subjects. I have done my AMIETE-CS in 4 yrs and now doing M.Tech from a recognized university. Many govt. sectors take AMIETE equivalent to B.E. or B.Tech. But it is not wastage of time. One need to be sincere and have to work hard for completing it. And it is not a big deal to complete AMIETE in 4 yrs, If I can than any one do it.

Hello I'm also an AMIETE student, you said exactly what I wanted to hear. Students are leaving AMIETE exams inbetween because they are unable to cope up with the studies. But I and my group of friends has decided not to leave AMIETE at any cost even though we are getting admission for BE in top colleges. Yes it is equivalent to B.E./B.Tech but recently unrecognized by DRDO as it is not approved by AICTE.

No, these degrees are not equivalent, they are totally different, though AMIETE is govt. approved and Many universities accept this.

Yes AMIETE is equivalent to B.Tech and ALCC is equivalent to M.Tech. U need not to worry about his recognition. AMIETE is recognized by MHRD, and it has lot of other govt recognition. One thing is very important which is AMIETE is not recognized by AICTE. Students can go for M.Tech and MBA after AMIETE. Now AMIETE degree has been accepted by all the IIT's, NIT's and ohte govt. institution and Pvt Institution. U are also eligible for all the govt. Jobs.

Hi

AMIETE Graduate Level examinations, a pass in which is recognized by the Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD & Union Public Service Commission for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts & services under the Central Govt.

Now this is certainly very different from the B.Tech Course. So you cannot compare these two with each other.

It provides basically 3 courses under it :

Electronics and Communication

Computer Science

Information Technology

The Eligibility for the AMIETE is that a candidate desirous of taking up the Graduateship (AMIETE) Examination should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Maths conducted by a recognized Board of Education.

hi dear,AMIETE (Degree Level): Examination is recognized by Govt, of India and UPSC for Superior Posts; Services, State Govts, and by a large number of Universities /Institutions for higher education.

Both the courses are not equivalent because AMIETE is for the higher education in abroad.All the best.

Till my experience or as i know that both are different degree i.e. AMIETE degree is not equivalent to B.Tech. degree.B.Tech degree are generally approved by AICTE(All India Council Technical Education) and AMIETE are generally by UPSC(Union Public Service Commition).

So don't confuse between these two different degree.

AMITE Degree is eqla to C level (M.Tech).If you want to pursue your degree by IETE then thing once before joining it. It's syallabus is very tough.If you ready to work hard then opt it.otherwise select any universiy for B.E or B.Tech .it is very easy to complete your degree by any university except IETE.Its very easy to give comment like this is not good and this is good.

AMIETE means Associate member of institution of electronics and telecommunication engg. it is approved by govt of india and also some other foreign countries. It is actually equivalent to Btech and those who have a doubt can go thruogh the recognition letter provided by govt of india. U can appera for exams like gate, upsc and all others.
