Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
He Hy It's Siddharth here, I am an AMIETE-IT student, so your question is about b.tech equivalent so listen AMIETE is professoinal course which is provided by Institute of Electronics And Telecommunication Engineers, which is recognised by Govt. Of India and many States Gov. so It is equivalent to B.Tech, If you are willing to give these exams so do it surely, but listen one thing these are Engineering exams so the pattern of examination is to tuf so if you are willing or you really whant to be a successful Engineer in your life then stduy hard and clear these examination or think twice before entering because as per my knowledge some students has pass their currier's 10yr's but still they are unable to complete these exams but they are still trying there best to complete it, I am sure these students will be a successful engineer. So my concept about saying you is first look at your self and make yourself capable for hard studies because once you enter in this field you will fill that these exams are very though but I think if you know every thing regarding AMIETE you will surely complete these exams with in 4yr's so best of luck for your future in Engineering field!

Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
AMIETE is a Degree Engineering Course after pass one can appear all examinations conducted by UPSC,Railway,BSNL,Prasar Bharati, all Public Sectors like SAIL,NALCO,NTPC etc. and all other govt.jobs of India. Many AMIETE students are now working top positions in the above said field.AMIETE students are also eligible to study MTech in IITs,NITs though GATE.But for IISc Bangalore AMIETE should be after BSc.
AMIETE students are eligible for all India Govt.Jobs and all Public Sector Jobs like BTech students and AMIETE is recognised by IITs to study MTech also.So AMIETE is equivalent to BTech. But it is not said BTech as it is a non-formal education. |

Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
I did AMIETE-CS, it%u2019s very very difficult to clear the examination within the specified period, but you can complete it, if you are ready to work hard. One thing I want say, AMIETE is recognized course by Govt of India and other state govt, IIT%u2019s, IISc Bangalore, few other universities, UPSC, ISRO, DRDO, etc., as equivalent to BE / B.Tech. This examination is conducted by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) New Delhi, It%u2019s a professional body, there is no quota system for any cast or any religion etc, anyone can join if they are qualified and talented, if you are really talented you can join and complete the course with less expenses. Compare to BE or B.Tech, it%u2019s very hard to clear. And also it%u2019s India level exam, we can%u2019t compare with BE / B.Tech It%u2019s having more stuff than BE / B.Tech.

Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
AMIETE (Degree Level): Examination is recognized by Govt, of India and UPSC for Superior Posts; Services, State Govts, and by a large number of Universities /Institutions for higher education.
Both the courses are not equivalent because AMIETE is for the higher education in abroad. All the best. |

Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
No both the courses are not equivalent, each have the broad sense in the field of education, such as this AMIETE is usually for higher study in abroad.
Whereas the B.Tech level study is done for getting good jobs in the country. All the best. |

Re: Is amiete degree equivalent to b.tech degree?
I think IETE is higher than BTech degree in terms of knowledge. And recognition from AICTE is not necessary as it is directly approved by MHRD.
Anyways i think it has the approval of AICTE. Regarding jobs i also want to know. |
