The exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission not by UPSC. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- >>Should have a graduation degree in any stream. >>Age of the candidates should be 18-27years. >>The SC/ST are given age relaxation for 5years and OBC for 3years. >>Should be citizen of India. >>Should be physically fit. You need to clear the selection procedure and get a good rank you get in the desired position of CID. For more information check http://www.ssc.nic.in |

To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Graduation in any discipline AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 . |
