I am interested in CID hi,  CID stands for crime investigation department , which is one of the best department in india to control crimes , now as far as the eligibility criteria is concern , :- 1. for constable post:- for constable post you have to be minimum 12th passed and your age lie in the range 18-21 years. 2. for officer category post:- you must have a bachelor degree , and your age should lie in the range of 21-30 years .. so, all the best |

Eligibility criteria:- The age limits are 20 to 27 years The candidate who wants to apply this exam must be an indian origin The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.  CID - Crime Investigation Department. You can join CID through Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination conducted by The Staff Selection Commission every year. Below is the Qualifications Required for Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination: * You must have a graduation degree in any stream. * Citizen should be India. * Age must be in between 20-27 years. There is also a relaxation of 3 years in upper age for OBC candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST candidates granted. Now, Two examinations are conducted : Written Interview.  Thanks. |

The acronym for CID is Crime Investigation Department. For joining CID, Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is conducted by The Staff Selection Commission every year. This examination is taken by two processes are mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * Interview. The educational qualifications required for this examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university. * Age limit- 20-27 yrs. * Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors. * Nationality- Indian. To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India.
