There is no such eligibility criteria for the marine engineering..You have to pass your 12th with 60% in all subjects..For the IITs you have to crack the IITJEE or AIEEE with a good rank..Some of the good colleges are: 1.University of Madras 2.Mangalore University 3.Marine engineering and research Institute 4.Chennai school of ship management 5.Cochin University 6.Indian Institute of maritime Studies If you score well in the entrance exam then you will get a good college for marine engineering... Re: I want to do Marine Engineering hey friend, i will provide you all the information about the marine engineering and how to take admission in marine engineering,but before it please give me details of of your 12th marks and combination of subjects. you can go for this only when you are from math background, and then you should be appear in the entrance exam like aieee,iitjee, and after getting good score in the exam,then you can chose to go for marine engineering. ok and all the best. |

Re: I want to do Marine Engineering THE eligibility criteria varies from institute to institutes. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IIT'S:-10+2 with 60% + IITJEE. FOR ANYOTHER MERITIME INSTITUTE:- At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M), and At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII and physical fitness.You are advised to have yourself medically examined by competent doctors before applying to any institute.This will ensure that you meet the minimum requirements, which in turn will avoid disappointment at a later stage. However all institute eligibility criteria is same except IITS. |
