Re: What is the eligibility criteria for cds exam? Dear Friend, CDS Stands for Common Defense Service. CDS Exam Is Conduct by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) Every Year at All India Level. There are Four Wings in CDS :- Indian Militry Academy(IMA) Naval Academy Air Force Academy Officer's Training Academy(OTA) Required Qualifications :- Educational: For IMA & OTA => Graduation Degree in Any Discipline from recognized University. Naval Academy => Graduation degree in B.Tech. or B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics. Air Force Academy => Graduation degree in B.Tech. or B.Sc. with Physics. Age Limit : Indian Military Academy: your age Must B/w 19 - 24 years. Naval Academy: your age must B/w 19 - 22 years. Air Force Academy: your age must B/w 19 - 23 years. CDS Stands for Combined Defense Services Examination which is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission [UPSC] twice in a year. Both the exams are conducted under the names of CDS-I & CDS-II respectively in February and December. Through CDS Examination , candidates have the opportunity to join the following wings of Indian Defense : * Indian Military Academy * Officers training Academy * Air Force Academy * Naval Academy The Eligibility Criteria For CDS Examination are : a) Educational Qualifications : * You need to have a Bachelor`s Degree from any recognized university with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 12th or Graduation. * Candidates in final year of graduation can also apply for the CDS Exam. * There is no minimum percentage required for this exam. b) Age Limit : Naval Academy : 19-22 years Air Force Academy : 19-23 years Officers Training Academy : 19-25 years Indian Militant Academy : 19-24 years c) Both male and Female Candidates can apply for the exam. d) Candidates must have Indian Citizenship. e) Physical Standards :  The pattern Of The CDS Examination is :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Needed Education Qualification for this examination is that candidate need to holding their degree course qualification or equivalent qualification from a recognized University . Any degree course like engineering , post graduate degree , graduate degree can apply for this examination . If you need to applying the post of Navy or Air force Examination then you must have a physics and mathematics as in your 12th examination . Age limits for CDS Examination ::
The announcement of the CDS Examination is published in the official website or employment news paper also . The application forms are received in only online mode and there is no offline mode application . The online mode application forms link will visible at the time of notification . The eligibility criteria required for CDS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university. * Age limit- 19-22 yrs for Indian Navy, 19-23 yrs for Indian Air Force, 19-24 yrs for Indian Military academy, 19-25 yrs for Officer's Training academy. * Both male and female. * Nationality- Indian. Re: What is the eligibility criteria for cds exam?  One can apply for the CDSE (COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) after the graduation,.. But for apply in naval(NA) & in air force wing(IAF), you must have engineering degree or equivalent degree or BSC (with maths & physics) from a recognized college with the minimum marks of at least 60%. The age limit for this examination is 19-23 years [for air force] 19-24 years [for the naval] 19-25 years [for IMA military]. Last years candidates can also apply. Exam pattern-  Notification for the UPSC's examinations which have to be held in this current years-   Physical eligibility-  You must have INDIAN nationality with marital status unmarried. Eligibility criteria for CDS exam:- For Indian military academy:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Age should be in between 19-24 years. 3.candidate must be physically fit. For Air force academy:- 1.Candidate can complete the graduation in any trade but must have had maths and physics in 12th. 2.Age should be in between 19-23 years. 3.Candidate must be physically fit. For Navy academy:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field. 2.Candidates age should be in between 19-22 years. 3.candidate must be physically fit. Re: What is the eligibility criteria for cds exam? CDS exam is the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission and it can be expanded as Combined Defense Service Exam. This exam is conducted by the government to choose a good officer to be a part in Indian Defense Services like Army, Navy and Air force. To appear in this exam you need to have certain eligibility criteria. You must be a graduate from a recognized university. In that also you must have taken physics or maths as your main subjects in graduation or in your 12th std to join in Navy or Air force. Your age must be above 19 years and below 23 years. You must also be unmarried male candidate to appear in CDS exam. |
