The Qualifications Required For IPS Exam are mentioned : * you must hold a bachelors degree in any stream from any UGC recognized university. * if you are in final year of graduation then also you can apply for the Civil Services Exam. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * Relaxation of 3 years is given to you if you belong to OBC Category or of 5 years if you belong to SC/ST Category. The IPS Examination consists of three examinations : 1) Civil Services Aptitude Test 2) MAINS Examination 3) Interview Test |

Eligibility Criteria:- Education qualification- Graduation in any stream from Govt. recognized University(NO restriction of %) Final year student who appeared in last year exam can also apply for UPSC prelims exam. To become an IPS(Indian Police Service) officer after B.Sc. one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. Eligibility for IPS, Civil Service Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University. -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. -Should have possessed good Physical Fitness. Regarding Physical requirement the Height of General Male candidate should be 165cm and Female 150cm while SC/ST Male should be 160cm and Female145cm. Chest of the Male candidate should be 84cm while Female should be 79cm The eligible candidate applying for Civil Service is called for a Preliminary exam also called as CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test) written exam and the candidate selected out of it is called for the Civil Service Main written exam and the final selection is conducted through Personal interview out of the candidate selected from Main exam. Re: How to become IPS officer after completing BSc? How to prepare for it? IPS - Indian Police Service and to become an IPS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness, can apply for IPS, Civil Service Exam. Apart from this the candidate should have minimum physical requirement such as:- HEIGHT:- General/OBC Male-165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm. CHEST:- Male-84cm while Female-79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases. The selection is through three stages:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam -Personal Interview After B.Sc. one is eligible to apply for Civil service Exam but before sitting for exam one should prepare for Civil Service rigorously at least for one year. And this exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year. Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification: The applicant should pass the Graduation from recognized University with any stream. The candidate not required the percentage for this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible. Age limit: The applicant age limit is between 21 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for the other categories. 3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC. 5 years upper age relaxation for the SC\ST. 10 years upper age relaxation for the PH. Nationality: The applicant should be citizen of India. It is very good to join a coaching academy. 4. read newspaper daily which will increase you english skill, current affair. 5. preferable news paper are times of india, THE HINDU. 6. Re: How to become IPS officer after completing BSc? How to prepare for it? In order to become an IPS Officer, you need to qualify the selection process of UPSC. The selection process includes prelims and mains exam. Applications for the same can be submitted through the web portal of UPSC. Preparation for the exam can be made using reference books based on exam syllabus. Practicing previous year question papers and reading news papers will be useful to clear the exam. |
