Now a days many colleges ,universities are offering M.tech...there are many surveys which gives the details of top colleges those all show different colleges in their top list ....I advice you to prepare well and get a rank to get seat in iits. |

So you have to get good marks in the GATE in order to get a good rank so that you can take admission in any one of the following colleges. Also, it may happen that some other colleges like VIT, Manipal , SRM , LPU, etc provide direct admission but it would cost too much, as they impose capitation. All the best. |

As I see you have listed the top colleges and want to get the best among the best.But I must tell you only the best deserve the best. So if you want to get enrolled in the best college, you really need to work very hard to earn your seat in that college. From the list you just provided, Id say you can opt for any IIT. IIT's are the premier engineering colleges in India and presently there is no better college better than the IITS with respect to quality of education and placements. So if you want to get into the IITs then you have to work very hard. |

India Today Rankings are accepted by the likes of LSE even. Here goes... IIT Kanpur IIT Delhi IIT Chennai IIT Kharagpur BITS Pilani Roorkee Engineering College VJTI Mumbai Jadavpur University To the best of my knowledge these colleges will need a Gate Score. All the IIT colleges definitely needs a GATE score. BITS might not have. They also have a campus in Goa and Hyderabad. They have MSc masters courses. I would suggest you go to their official website and write to their admissions department. |

Next comes the BITS, VIT,BIT. and after these comes the other colleges that you listed. For all these you have their respective entrance exams. Only thing is that the pattern of each exam differs. Well according to me you can try for BITS and VIT entrance exams which is easier than GATE. All the best. |

Because, IIT and NIT are the colleges, who provide you a good knowledge, as well as provide you a best jobs with high salary pacakage. With the degree of IIT's you will definately get a job, with great pacakage. So, IIT and NIT are the best colleges for doing any courses. So, always prepare yourself in that a manner, so that you will get admission in IIT's and NIT's. |
