No, you are not eligible to appear for NDA exam after passing 11th standard, the minimum educational qualification for NDA is 12th standard. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam conducted two times every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Health. You can't attend NDA, after passing 11th. The Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam is, Nationality - Indian. Age - 16.5 to 19 years. Education : 12th Pass for Indian Army & 12th pass with physics and maths for Indian Navy & Air Force. After passing 12th, you can attend NDA. |

Re: Can I appear for NDA examination after passing 11th standard? You can attend NDA, when you are about to attend 12th class examinations. Those who have passed HSC can also apply. You must be male and remain unmarried, in order to apply. Age must fall between 16 ½ and 19 years. Apart from army, you can apply for navy and air force, if studied physics and mathematics as subjects in 12th. |
