Can i appear for nda examination after passing 11 standard

You can attend NDA, when you are about to attend 12th class examinations. Those who have passed HSC can also apply. You must be male and remain unmarried, in order to apply. Age must fall between 16 ½ and 19 years. Apart from army, you can apply for navy and air force, if studied physics and mathematics as subjects in 12th.

after 11th take admission in 12th and then you can appear for the nda exam . This exam is taken by upsc twice every year. The student must be in 12th standard or 12th pass out for giving this exam. The age must be 16.5 to 19 year. Hight atleast 5.5" . More information on

The Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam is,

Nationality - Indian.

Age - 16.5 to 19 years.

Education : 12th Pass for Indian Army & 12th pass with physics and maths for Indian Navy & Air Force.

After passing 12th, you can attend NDA.

No, you are not eligible to appear for NDA exam after passing 11th standard, the minimum educational qualification for NDA is 12th standard.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam conducted two times every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Health.

YES you can appear in the NDA exams when you have passed class 11th and you are studying in Class 12th.

NDA exams are conducted 2 times each year
This exam is conducted by UPSC

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014
Forms would come out in January 2014

Eligibilty to apply is:

Education:
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream

Age-
Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams
