Hi,
As per Age limit criteria for UPSC IAS exam, you are not eligible if you are in General Catergory.

Age limit for UPSC IAS EXAM: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, in which a candidate is appearing.
Maximum 30 for general category,
33 for OBCs and
35 for SCs/STs.

regards

No you're not eligible if your of general category

because your'e age is exceeding the limit..

unlike if your SC/ST or PD candidate then you'll have relaxation upto 35 years of age..

so I hope you got answer for your question..

regards..

You cannot give exam if you are from General category Because Maximum age is 30 Years For General Category. If you Belong To OBC/SC/ST you can give it because for them There is relaxation in age.

Dear,

If you are not having any quota, you are applying as a general candidate then you are not eligible for IAS / UPSC exam as an age of 31.

For IAS / UPSC exam minimum eligibility is graduation in any branch with 60 % marks from a regonised institute / university.

Good Luck
