IAS/UPSC exam after graduation in IT, MBA and wok experience as a Wealth manager?
I am 31 and I have done my from sikkim manipal university as correspondence. Also i have done regular mba from a repute institution,now i m working in bank as wealth manager. Am i eligible for ias/upsc exams?

Age limit for IAS is 21-30 yrs only .... but if u belong to reserved category then only u can write this exam. |

Dear,
If you are not having any quota, you are applying as a general candidate then you are not eligible for IAS / UPSC exam as an age of 31. For IAS / UPSC exam minimum eligibility is graduation in any branch with 60 % marks from a regonised institute / university. Good Luck |

You cannot give exam if you are from General category Because Maximum age is 30 Years For General Category. If you Belong To OBC/SC/ST you can give it because for them There is relaxation in age.

No you're not eligible if your of general category
because your'e age is exceeding the limit.. unlike if your SC/ST or PD candidate then you'll have relaxation upto 35 years of age.. so I hope you got answer for your question.. regards.. ~aditya |

Hi,
As per Age limit criteria for UPSC IAS exam,you are not eligible if you are in General Catergory. Age limit for UPSC IAS EXAM: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, in which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. regards Kapila |
