Can I appear for IFS in final year Yes,you are eligible to apply for IFS(Indian Forest Services) exam after completing your graduation in electrical engineering. The IFS exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit personnel in Forest Department. The eligibility criteria required to appear in IFS exam are as under:- -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories; *OBC- 3 years *SC/ST-5 years. -The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the following subjects: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Agriculture, Forestry, Agriculture Engineering, Forestry Engineering. -The maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held in 1984. In case other eligibility conditions apply: ● General candidates: four attempts. ● Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction. ● Other Backward Classes: seven attempts. -The selection process passes through; *Preliminary exam *Main Exam *Personality Interview. |

IFS Exam Eligibility Criteria:- ¶¶ If you have a degree in any one of the following subject then you are eligible:- mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, geology, statistics, veterinary science and animal husbandry. ¶¶ If you have a degree in engineering, agriculture or forestry then count yourself in. ¶¶ On doing a degree medicine or surgery too you can sit for the IFS Examination. ¶¶ If you are in the final year then also you can give this exam. Before the Main Exam however you should have passed in the qualifying exam. ¶¶ Your age should not be lower than 21 years when applying for this exam and the upper age limit is 30 years. ¶¶ There is 5 years upper age limit relaxation for the SC/ST candidates, three years for the OBC candidates and 10 years for the PWD candidates. ¶¶ General category candidates can give this exam for four times, OBC candidates for seven times and no restriction is there on the SC/ST candidates. Selection Procedure:- Following stages or hurdles needs to be crossed to be an IFS Officer:-
The prelim exam mainly consists of objective questions and for each paper 200 marks have been allotted. UPSC CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test ) has two papers:- Paper I - (200 marks) Duration : Two hours

Can I appear for IFS in final year Yes Engineering Graduates are eligible for Indian Forest Services examination which is conducted by UPSC. Age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are a General category candidate. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category is given. Candidates who have done Graduation in following subjects are eligible to apply for IFS Examination. -Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science -Botany -Chemistry -Geology -Mathematics -Physics -Zoology -Statistics -Biochemistry -Agriculture -Engineering You should complete your Graduation to become eligible for this examination. The Final years students can apply if they are expecting their result on time. IFS Exam is Civil Services Examination which is Conduct by Union Public Service Commission. IFS Exam is very Recognized Exam. Required Qualifications: Educational: You must complete your Graduation Degree in Any One of Following: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Botany Chemistry Geology Mathematics Physics Zoology Agriculture OR Graduation in Engineering Your Graduation Degree Should be from Recognized University. Age Limit: Your age must between 21 - 30 years. 5 years & 3 years Age Relaxation is Applicable for SC/ST & OBC candidates Respectively. Can I appear for IFS in final year If you are talking about the Indian Forest service Exams than below is the eligibilty Education Graduation pass and in Graduation you should have studied at least one of the below subjects : Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry Or BE/Btech pass Age- Minimum age to apply is 21 years Maximum age to apply is 30 years OBC can apply till 33 years SC/ST can apply till 35 years Attempts- General Category candidates can apply for 4 times OBC category candidates can apply for 7 times Exam Pattern Paper I General English Paper II General Knowledge Paper III Optional paper Paper IV Optional paper Paper V Optional paper Paper VI Optional paper |
