Re: I am in Indian Army : Can I appear for NDA exam? hi dear you can apply for NDA examination if you can fulfill the eligibility criterion for NDA examination. the maximum permissible age to appear in NDA examination for general category candidate is 18 years. also you must be unmarried. also you have to pass 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics subject. also there are so many eligibility criterion. visit the website http://www.upsc.gov.in for more information about NDA examination. the next notification for NDA examination will come on 9th April, 2011 in the website and also in employment news. thank |

Re: I am in Indian Army : Can I appear for NDA exam? hello friend the eligibility criteria of NDA exam is given below 1.12th with science with PCM combination. 2.minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam. 3.age limit 16.5-19 years. if you have the above criteria then you are eligible for NDA exam. all the best.............. |

Re: I am in Indian Army : Can I appear for NDA exam? sorry to say but you can not apply for NDA exam .Indian army do not give opportunity to its candidates to leave their course in middle now you will have to complete your course.if you leave Indian army then you will not be allowed to sit in any kind of exam of ARMY ,AIR FORECE AND NAVY . moreover to give NDA exam you should 'nt above 19 years and since you are already in Indian army then it mean that you are above 19 so there is no way you can give NDA exam again for more details:: UPSC |

A person will be eligible to enter into NDA if he is in the age group of 16 1/2 to 19 years. In addition one should have completed his 10+2 to be eligible for NDA. I don't think you will not belong to that age group and you may have an age higher than that. Anyway, if you belong to that particular age group, there is chance for you to appear for NDA exam. Educational Qualification for NDA: i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Re: I am in Indian Army : Can I appear for NDA exam? Hello.....Yes you can apply for NDA but remember that it is only on the basis of 12th and your age should be between 17 1/2 and 19 years. You will not get any advantage just because you are in army.I attended the SSB interview on 29-02-2011 and there was a candidate who was in Navy but he got punished because of talking in the middle and he also did not clear the screening where as inexpereinced guys like me went till conference. Re: I am in Indian Army : Can I appear for NDA exam? Dear friend, Yes you can apply for NDA provided that your age is between 16 and half years to 19 years and your qualification is 60% marks in class 12th . So, if you have crossed this age limit then you are not eligible. BEST WISHES!!!!!!!! |
