hi. I am in Indian army, and I want to appear in NDA exam . Is it possible ?

Sorry you can not appear for NDA because the age of the candidate must not be more than 19 years. I think you must have crossed 19 years of your age as you are working in Army and there is no details whether ex-employees of army or army candidate can apply for it or not. still I am giving you a link where you will find the details for NDA 2011 exam.

Yes you can apply for NDA provided that your age is between 16 and half years to 19 years and your qualification is 60% marks in class 12th .

So, if you have crossed this age limit then you are not eligible.

Hello.....Yes you can apply for NDA but remember that it is only on the basis of 12th and your age should be between 17 1/2 and 19 years.
You will not get any advantage just because you are in army.I attended the SSB interview on 29-02-2011 and there was a candidate who was in Navy but he got punished because of talking in the middle and he also did not clear the screening where as inexpereinced guys like me went till conference.

To appear for NDA exam your age should be 16½ to 19 years.
If you have crossed this age,you are not eligible.

Educational Qualification for NDA:

i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

You did not mention the age of you. It plays a major role regarding your question.

A person will be eligible to enter into NDA if he is in the age group of 16 1/2 to 19 years.

In addition one should have completed his 10+2 to be eligible for NDA.

I don't think you will not belong to that age group and you may have an age higher than that.

Anyway, if you belong to that particular age group, there is chance for you to appear for NDA exam.

The age limit is between 16 1/2 yrs to 19 yrs.If your age is more than this then you cannot appear for this exam.

To Appear In NDA Examination, Your Age Should Between 16 1/2 To 19 Years.

If You Are Belong To This Age Then Definitely You Are Eligible To Apply For NDA Examination.

But As You Mention That, You Already In Indian Army, Then I Think Your Age Should More Than 19 Years, And If Your Age Is More Than 19 Years, Then You Cant Apply For NDA Examination, Because You Can Not Full Fill The Eligiblity Criteria.

sorry to say but you can not apply for NDA exam .Indian army do not give

opportunity to its candidates to leave their course in middle now you will have to

complete your course.if you leave Indian army then you will not be allowed to sit in any

kind of exam of ARMY ,AIR FORECE AND NAVY .

moreover to give NDA exam you should 'nt above 19 years and since you are already in

Indian army then it mean that you are above 19 so there is no way you can give NDA

exam again

the eligibility criteria of NDA exam is given below

1.12th with science with PCM combination.

2.minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam.

3.age limit 16.5-19 years.

if you have the above criteria then you are eligible for NDA exam.
