Re: Minimum qualification required to become a CID Officer? CID stands for (Crime Investigation Department) Qualification required- Minimum 12th standard in any stream from a recogniszed university. For CID your citizenship should be Indian if you are Indian or live here permanently. |

Age limit: 21 years to 30 years And to become a CID officer you must choose Civil service examination conducted by UPSC and for IPS officer. CID stands for - Crime Investigation Department. |

CID Officer Eligibility Minimum Qualification You must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Age Criteria Your age should be between 21 to 30 years of the examination year. - You should be physically fit. Selection - Preliminary Exam - Main Exam - Interview |

Re: Minimum qualification required to become a CID Officer? To Join CID department, you must have minimum qualification of graduate from any stream or further higher education. After completing your graduation you can apply for the SSC-CGL (Combined Graduation Level) exam. This exam contains of 200 question and the time period for the exam is 2 hours. If you got the marks above from cut off in this exam than you are eligible for the second exam. And after clear the second exam you will call for the interview round. The candidates who successfully completed the interview round and got selected in interview may go for the document verification round . And after all these rounds the candidate will join there departments. |

After that you are eligible for the IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC. After passing in written exam you will be called for a interview. And after passing in the interview you have to go for your training. Once you complete the training then you will be eligible for sub inspector post. Thanks |

Qualification required for CID officer exam:- Candidates must be complete graduation from a recognised University. Minimum of age limit 21 years and maximum of age limit 27 years, age relaxation as per government rules. Selection Process:- Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview. |

SSC conducts the entrance exam every year for making recruitment in CID department. CID is an acronym for Criminal Investigation Department. Eligibility criteria :- => Academic qualification required for this exam is graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. => The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be in between 20 years to 27 years.Age is relaxed for OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidate. => The selection procedure for the CID involves of * Written test, * Physical test, and * Interview. Syllabus for the exam :- Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and Computer Knowledge. Physical Requirements:- Height: For male candidate - 165 cms. The minimum qualification required to join as a constable in the CID is 12th.For Sub Inspector and officer level post candidate must have graduation degree. To join the Crime Investigation Department, you must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission.Every year the union public service commission is conduct the civil services examinations. |
